Our class was the lucky winner in a draw for an extra lacrosse class to start our day! The program was provided free to our school by
We wrote some letters to our buddies to add to the artwork we created for them.
We had some time to finish up work that was unfinished as we were missing many students today. If we were finished everything, we worked on an art graph.
We had some team building time as a class and played a game of charades. It was great to see everyone engaged and supportive of each other as some clues were more difficult than others.
Our afternoon started with lacrosse and then we met with our buddies to make cards to go with the items that our school has collected for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Reminders:
- Bring in items in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association (see post from yesterday for details)
- We are also collecting food items for the Mayor's Food Drive.
- Last day of classes before winter break is tomorrow and it is Pajama Day. It is an 11:45 am dismissal.
- First day of classes in 2020- Tuesday, January 7
- Students are bringing home a voucher for 2 tickets to a Calgary Roughnecks lacrosse game on either Feb. 8 Feb. 29 or March 13.
